I Open, I Allow, and the Divine Knows How

A talk from Swami Nityananda presented in HD audio and video

Dear Feel Love Now Community,

We just shared this video on YouTube, but wanted you to be able to have it on your Substack video player as well, in case you prefer that.

Having it on Substack makes it easy for you to see any other podcasts, videos, articles, or full meditation services that might be available in the Manifest Your Divinity Series by clicking here.

In the video, Swami reminds us of the choices we face between the path of illumination and the path of ignorance and offers a water blessing ceremony as part of our New Year celebration.

The Bhagavad Gita teaches us that choosing the path of illumination leads to Self-liberation and supreme devotion. It's a path filled with light, wisdom, and joy—qualities that not only enhance our lives but also allow us to serve as beacons for others. We are invited to hold fast to these principles, allowing them to guide our thoughts, actions, and interactions.

Here’s one of our favorite quotes:

“We just got done meditating on the way the angel came to Mary and said, ‘All the love in the universe wants to be born through you.’ And Mary was like, ‘Me? Now? Here? How?’ And she said, ‘Let it be according to thy word.’ So her human self didn’t understand this and she set that aside and she said, ‘Yes, I will allow all the love in the universe to be born through me now.’

And that’s what each of us is invited to do always. I will allow all the love in the universe to be born through me here and now even as my human self does not understand how. The Divine knows how. And so, I open, and I allow, and the Divine knows how. And plus it rhymes, which makes it fun and easier to remember.”

If you have heard this teaching before, we invite you — as Swami so often invites us — to hear it as if you are hearing it for the first time. Often we receive these teachings right when we need them.

In loving service,
The Karma Yoga Team at AYM
