What the Story of Jesus Makes Visible

A talk from Swami Nityananda presented in HD audio and video

Dear Feel Love Now Community,

We just shared this video on YouTube, but wanted you to be able to have it on your Substack video player as well, in case you prefer that.

Having it on Substack makes it easy for you to see any other podcasts, videos, articles, or full meditation services that might be available in the Instant Self-Enlightenment by clicking here.

In this video, Swami Nityananda shares the story of Jesus and makes it visible—the embodiment of peace, love, and limitless light.

Jesus demonstrates that it is possible for every human being to live with an energy of kindness, gentleness, and strength. He shows us that we are capable of conquering aggression, living in peace, and embracing forgiveness no matter the circumstances.

This teaching aligns with the wisdom of ancient yogis, who speak of "immortal peace"—a peace that no one can give or take away, a peace that resides within each of us eternally.

Here’s one of our favorite quotes:

“The idea is that he [Jesus] is making visible that it is possible within each of us—he demonstrates this is possible to be in a human body and to be so filled to overflowing with peace and with this energy of limitless light, with this energy of kindness, and strength, and gentleness, that one makes visible in a human body: We are capable of conquering aggression. We are capable of moving beyond that. We are capable of living peace in the world. We are capable of living forgiveness in the world no matter what.

That’s exactly what the story of Jesus is making visible. He’s making visible what the yogis would call immortal peace. Immortal peace is immortal because nobody can take it away from you. And that also means immortal peace is immortal because nobody can give it to you.

The only way immortal peace can be with you always is if you are aware: I am immortal peace. That is my nature. It can never leave me. It can never let me go. And that’s also what the yogis call immortal bliss—immortal love. It’s boundless. It’s limitless. And each of us is connected to it always.”

If you have heard this teaching before, we invite you — as Swami so often invites us — to hear it as if you are hearing it for the first time. Often we receive these teachings right when we need them.

In loving service,
